If you can’t pay or your payment fails, here are the troubleshooting steps you can perform with FunnelKit Pay.
Step 1: Enable log debug messages
Navigate to FunnelKit Pay – Stripe Settings.
Scroll down and check the box next to Log debug messages. This will help you get more information about the failure.
Save the changes when done.
Step 2: Check the order notes for the failed order
Go to the Orders section under WooCommerce and check the notes section for the failed order.
FunnelKit Pay uses Stripe’s API to send and receive requests. Stripe then sends the request to the customer’s bank for a charge.
The declines can happen due to a variety of reasons – check the full list of decline codes here.
Please note that the information about payment failures or card declines comes from Stripe and is captured in order notes.
